Glorious weather in San Fran today, which means flag football. We played the other law school 1L team and ended up tying 6-6. They took advantage of our inexperience (they'd already played twice while we won by forfeit both times) and scored early but we came back. We had one touch down called off from our QB stepping across the line of scrimmage before he threw and when I DROPPED THE GAME WINNING PASS in the END ZONE WITH 30 SECONDS LEFT.

In my defense, the ball intended for me (I was like a number 3 target on a team of 7) got tipped by a girl on my same team. Ball just slipped through my arms even though I was open. Been beating myself over it all day.

The calorie counting and exercise regime (jump rope) seems to have paid off though. Fatigue was never an issue even after I played a second game as a walk on substitute. This probably had something to do with the position I played though; lineman on offense and pass rusher on defense for most of the game.

St. Patrick's day is approaching! Spring break is here too, and I have a week to cook. I have a craving for corned beef (Trade Joe's Radio says they have some on sale for 4.99), and am wondering if anyone has recipes for it. Corned beef noodle casserole with spinach sounds good, as does corned beef and cabbage chowder.

To those who are/were in the CCS fandom: What do you think of a fic about Sonomi and Fujitaka... but with Nadesico's ghost involved? Darkness, conflicting interests, new vs. old, guilt, angst, moving on (and the preventing of moving on), and shocking revelations abound.

I mean, how does Fujitaka get together with Sonomi anyways when he can still see and talk to Nadesico?? I'm assuming they get together, it's only logical.

Should really start to work on my Code Geass fic. It's been well over five weeks since I last updated.
